I was introduced to woodworking in Grade 7 shop class where I made a small outdoor table which is still in use at our cottage. My passion for wood is not something I can explain in words. I look at a burl or even the simplest crotch of a tree or root and I see unique practical pieces that I know will yield amazing colours and features. But the beauty of wood is more than just colours. It’s textures, lines and sheens as soft as silk.

At my many craft shows, I encourage customers to not only look at, but also touch my products to share their beauty. And of course, I welcome discussions of unique items we can develop together.
